L -  Mature size 29" tall x 60" wide
12" x 9"  large heart-shaped blue-green thick leaves have a 1" wide creamy-white border.
Upright habit with drooping leaves. Pale lavender flowers.
Awards: Hosta of the Year 2009
 


El Nino

M - Mature size 16" tall x 40" wide
7" x 5"
good substanced blue-green leaves with centers that are slightly grayer towards the very white margins. 9-11 vein pairs. 24" spikes of blue-lavender flowers.

Unknown parentage
G - Mature size 31" tall x 74" wide

14" x 10"  shiny, medium green leaves with thick substance. Huge vase shaped mound. White flowers. Great specimen, but the flower scapes can reach up to 8' tall.

L - Mature size 20" x 40"
10" x 9" waxy, heavy substanced powdery blue-grey leaves become heavily textured and corrugated as they mature. They are rounded with a blunt point and have deeply impressed veins.  One of the sieboldianas. Lilac-tinged white, bell-shaped flowers on 34" scapes.
Awards: AHS convention Best Blue Leaf Award 1986, AHS Lucille Simpers Award for the best large or giant blue leaf hosta 1991, Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit 1993, AHS Benedict Garden Performance Honorable Mention 2006, AHS Benedict Garden Performance Award of Merit 2009.

L - Mature size 26" x 45"
12" x 6" yellow heart shaped leaves with green margins that age to a greener center throughout the summer. The leaves are much larger and thicker than 'Fortunei Albopicta'.

M  - Mature size 18" tall x 36" wide
8" x 7" light yellow in spring changing to creamy-white centered leaves with a nearly flat green margin.
The leaf colors extend down the petiole (stems). They have a better than average substance. 10 vein pairs. Lavender flowers.

Eskimo Pie

A reverse sport of Northern Exposure
L - Mature size 22" tall x 26" wide
8" x 5" puckered leaves have a light yellow center surrounded by streaking of chartreuse and a blue-green margin. As the summer progresses the center fades to a cream and the streaking turns apple-green.Topped with white flowers. A slow grower.
